Privacy Commitment

PromptEngine is built to help you write better prompts without treating your ideas as a product to resell or mine for advertising. We collect only what we need to run the service, protect your account, and improve reliability. This page describes how we handle information when you use our website and Chrome extension.

Data Storage

We do not log or retain the full text of your prompts for analytics, model training, or resale. When you use optimization features, your input may be processed in real time to return a result; it is not kept as a permanent log tied to your identity for those purposes. Operational safeguards (such as short-lived error diagnostics) are limited to what is necessary to keep the service secure and stable.

Account Data

If you create an account, we store only what is needed to identify you and manage your subscription: for example, your email address and plan or billing status supplied by our payment provider. We do not use this information for unrelated profiling.

No Third-Party Advertising

We do not run third-party advertising networks on PromptEngine, and we do not sell your personal information to data brokers. If we ever introduce optional integrations that share data outside this policy, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.

Local Processing

Parts of the experience—such as UI state, preferences, or draft text you have not yet sent—may remain on your device in browser storage until you clear it. Our Chrome extension operates in the context of supported AI sites only for the features you trigger; it does not silently read unrelated tabs or harvest browsing history for marketing.
